Our idea for Kitaba began in the historic ports of Kerala, where once the monsoon winds guided Arab dhows to the spice-rich shores of the Malabar Coast.
With these ships travelled language, scholarship, craft, law, poetry and ways of seeing the world. We believe this was a civilisational dialogue and it has to continue for the good of all.
